ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – MILAN
After arriving at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight to complete baggage drop, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Milan on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1211 at 08:50. Following our arrival at Milan Bergamo Airport at 10:10 local time, we head to Milan city center to organize our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also known for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is recognized as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right destination for shopping and dining. During our city tour in Milan, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. At the end of the Milan city tour, we travel to our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at our hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
MILAN – (Como & Lugano Tour) – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – ST. MORITZ – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – ALSACE/BASEL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Tirano for the unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Como & Lugano Tour (80 Euro). On our tour, we first travel to Como. Upon arrival, we visit Lake Como, famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, home to the summer residences of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and take a photo break with the lake’s unique view. After a short free time in Como, we arrive in Lugano. In our tour, we take a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Lugano, located within the borders of Switzerland, and enjoy the stunning nature and exceptional views that will captivate us with its unique scenery and city park. At the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Tirano. During the world-famous railway journey, built between 1898 and 1904 and now listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, we will have the chance to admire and photograph extraordinary landscapes on this fairy-tale route that many travel enthusiasts dream of experiencing. After approximately 2 hours of pleasant train travel, we arrive in St. Moritz, the natural wonder of Switzerland and a favorite destination of the jet set. Depending on the train departure time on the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina railway line, we enjoy free time and a short walking tour, then depart for our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. After this panoramic journey through Heidi’s Villages, featuring the stunning views of endless mountains and green meadows from the beloved childhood heroine Heidi’s world, living in the Alps with her grandfather and closest friend Peter, we arrive at our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region, check in, and have free time to rest.
ALSACE / BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast, we head to Strasbourg. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On our tour, we first visit the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and Petite Venise (Little Venice), the city’s most famous area, with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the chance to enjoy many delicious foods and buy souvenirs to suit your taste. Our next stop in the tour is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-decorated balconies, distinctive rows of shops, paved pedestrian streets, buildings that somehow survived the Second World War without damage, and charming cafés; with its tower and the Dolder Museum that preserves the town’s history through documents, it resembles a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue to Strasbourg. Strasbourg, located on the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in Alsace, welcomes us like a painting straight out of a fairy tale. Added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 and home to the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg offers a walking panoramic city tour in its car-free center and streets, where we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, the Notre Dame Cathedral in the heart of the city and its most important structure, and the Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest building, which still serves as a hotel and restaurant. After free time following the Strasbourg tour, we continue to Freiburg, one of the finest examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, where only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed to enter since 2010 and transportation is mostly by tram and bicycle, we can see the traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, which have all influenced the city throughout history. Known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), our city tour in Freiburg includes the city’s most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with small water channels unique to Freiburg, the medieval Martin’s Gate, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Alsace region.
ALSACE / BASEL – BERN – (Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour by Train) – GENEVA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to its historical texture, it is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Located in Switzerland and officially German-speaking, Bern’s architecture also reflects German cultural influence. After our tour in Bern, guests who wish may join the optional Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour by Train (80 Euro). Our first stop is Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is located between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, Interlaken is famous for its natural beauty and the breathtaking views that accompany it. Important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets of the region are along our walking tour route. The historic Victoria Jungfrau Hotel and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After free time for photos and sightseeing, we head to the train station to continue to Lauterbrunnen, our next stop. After about a 20-minute train journey from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. We will feel the deep shape of the valley and the steep rock walls as soon as we leave the station. Walking toward the village center, we will see the captivating structure of Staubbach Falls cascading into the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it panoramically. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements lined along the valley that hosts 72 waterfalls and its walking trails. Along the designated route within the village, we will photograph traditional chalet architecture, natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the splendid natural landscapes that resemble paradise. We return to Interlaken and complete our tour. Afterwards, we travel to Geneva and upon arrival, we organize our city tour. Known as the “French city of Switzerland,” Geneva is located on the shores of Lake Geneva and is an extraordinary city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations gives Geneva a central cultural and administrative role. In Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and clean air come together, the highlights of our tour include St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Monument. After the city tour, we reach our hotel in the Geneva region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we travel to Nice. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals and the Thiou River running through it, Annecy captivates visitors with its canal network and extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our tour, the Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography lovers, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, room assignment and free time to rest.
NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour in Cannes, we first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. While walking through the narrow, winding, and car-free streets of the old town, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and do some shopping. After our visit to the La Croisette Boulevard, lined with many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels along the Cannes coast, and Meynadier Street, we continue to Nice, where our city tour includes Promenade des Anglais, Nice Harbor, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Courthouse. After the Nice tour and free time, guests who wish may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, our first stop is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the Côte d’Azur with its magnificent view, where we visit a perfume factory where you can test many beautiful and famous perfumes and purchase them at reasonable prices. After the tour, our second stop is the Principality of Monaco, the world’s smallest country after the Vatican, located on the French Riviera. Upon arrival, we will carry out our panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region.
NICE – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – OUTLET – MILAN
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino has inspired songs with its charm and is a sight to behold with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean waters, delighting visitors with its stunning scenery. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Milan. Along the way, we will visit an outlet center. After some free time for pleasant and affordable shopping at the famous outlet center, home to prestigious brands, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas in Italy, which shapes global fashion trends, we arrive at our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
MILAN – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Bergamo Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport and after completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1214 at 17:15. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 20:55 local time and end of the tour.
