ISTANBUL – GENEVA At Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, after completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures at the International Terminal 3 hours before departure, we fly to Geneva at 11:00 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC953. Upon arrival at Geneva Airport at 13:15 local time, we meet our vehicle waiting for us at the airport and depart for Geneva city center to begin our city tour. Geneva, known as “the French side of Switzerland,” is a magnificent city located on the shores of Lake Geneva, where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations gives Geneva a central position in terms of culture and administration. During our tour in Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments, streets, and clean air come together, we will mainly see St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become the symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we will have free time, followed by transfer to our hotel in the Geneva region. Check-in and free time to rest. GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – BERN – (By Train to Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – ALSACE / BASEL After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bern. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” because of the canals and the Thiou River running through it, Annecy captivates visitors with its network of canals and its extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our tour in Annecy, the Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third largest lake in France, we continue our journey to Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Bern, located within Switzerland and officially German-speaking, also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour in Bern, followed by free time, our guests who wish may join the optional By Train to Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop will be Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is located between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, we will tour Interlaken, famous for its natural beauty and breathtaking views of these landscapes. The region’s important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets will be on our walking route. The Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park will be among the panoramic sights. After free time for photography and sightseeing, we proceed to the train station to head to our next stop, Lauterbrunnen. After approximately a 20-minute train ride from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and steep rock walls as soon as we leave the station. Walking toward the village center, we will panoramically see the fascinating form of Staubbach Falls descending toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements and walking paths lined along the valley that is home to 72 waterfalls. During our walk through the village along the designated route, we will take plenty of photos of the traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the wonderful, almost heavenly landscapes. We return to Interlaken and complete our tour. After the tour, we travel to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region, check-in and free time to rest. ALSACE / BASEL – (Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL After breakfast, we depart for Strasbourg. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and the most famous area of the city, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to find many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as many souvenirs. Our next stop is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-decked balconies, uniquely lined shops, cobblestone pedestrian streets, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafés, with its tower housing the Dolder Museum, which preserves the town’s story through documents, and a setting that feels straight out of Grimm’s fairy tales. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue our journey to Strasbourg. Located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg welcomes us like a painting, as if it had come out of a fairy tale. Added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and hosting the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s car-free center and streets will be explored on foot during our panoramic city tour, where we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in the heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city and still serving today as a hotel and restaurant. After the Strasbourg tour and free time, we travel to Freiburg, one of the finest examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, where only low-carbon-emission vehicles have been allowed into the city since 2010 and transportation is mostly by tram and bicycle, we will see traces of the city’s historical and architectural cultures influenced over time by Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden. Known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), our city tour in Freiburg will include Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with small water channels unique to Freiburg, Martin’s Gate, the city’s medieval gate, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Alsace region. ALSACE – ST. MORITZ – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – (Como & Lugano Tour) – MILAN After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head for the unforgettable train journey on the Bernina railway line, a breathtaking experience that will almost seem like a dream. Following a panoramic journey through the countryside, with views of Heidi’s villages reminiscent of the beloved childhood scenes of our little heroine Heidi, who lived in the Alps with her grandfather and best friend Peter, we arrive in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a favorite destination of the jet set. Depending on the train departure time on the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina railway line, free time and a short sightseeing tour may be offered before we reach the station for the Bernina Express / Red Train journey, a magical train ride that has inspired many travelers’ dreams. Built between 1898 and 1904 and now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this world-famous line offers a fairytale journey where we will witness and photograph extraordinary landscapes. After an approximately 2-hour pleasant train ride, we arrive at Tirano Station and continue to our hotel in the Milan region by vehicle. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Como & Lugano Tour (80 Euro). We first travel to Lugano. In this tour, we will enjoy a peaceful walk along Lake Lugano, located within Switzerland, and admire the breathtaking nature and magnificent scenery that will captivate us, taking photos of the beautiful surroundings. After free time in Lugano, we continue to the second part of our tour in Como. Upon arrival, we will visit Lake Como, home to the summer residences of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and famous for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will take a photo stop with the lake’s unique scenery. After free time in Como, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Milan region, check-in and free time to rest. MILAN – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – NICE After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Nice. On the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with all its beauty, enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, check-in and free time to rest. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, our guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first travel to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour in Cannes, we first see the old town, the city’s original settlement. During our walk through the narrow, winding, car-free streets of the old town, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. Afterward, we visit La Croisette Boulevard, home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, followed by free time. We then arrive in Nice. On our Nice tour, the places to be seen include Promenade des Anglais, Nice Harbor, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Courthouse. After free time in Nice, our guests who wish may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the stunning Côte d’Azur, where we visit a perfume factory where you can test various beautiful and famous perfumes and purchase them at favorable prices. After the tour, our second stop is Monaco, the kingdom of dreams, the world’s smallest country after the Vatican, located on the French Riviera. Upon arrival, we will conduct a panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region. NICE – OUTLET – MILAN After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. On the way, we will visit an outlet center. After free time for enjoyable and affordable shopping at the famous outlet center, home to prestigious brands, cafés, restaurants, and leisure areas in Italy, which leads global fashion trends, we arrive in Milan city center and begin our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also known for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although recognized as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right destination for shopping and dining. During our city tour in Milan, the main sights include the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano. At the end of the Milan city tour, we head to our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival, check-in and free time to rest. MILAN – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bergamo Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 11:45 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1212. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 15:25 local time and end of the tour.
