ANTALYA – BASEL – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL After completing baggage drop, ticketing, and passport control procedures at Antalya Airport’s International Terminal by arriving 3 hours before departure, we depart on SunExpress Airlines’ direct scheduled flight XQ110 to Basel at 06:10. Upon arrival at Basel Airport at 08:55 local time, we are met by our private vehicle and head to Strasbourg. Strasbourg, located at the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, welcomes us with a fairytale-like beauty, like a painting. During our panoramic city tour on foot in the vehicle-free center and streets of Strasbourg, which was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992, we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important landmark located in the heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city and still serving as a hotel and restaurant. After the Strasbourg tour and some free time, we continue on to Freiburg, one of the most important examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, the city of happy people, where since 2010 only low-carbon vehicles are allowed and transportation is mainly by tram and bicycle, our city tour will reveal traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, which the city has come under throughout history. During our tour in Freiburg, also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), we will see Freiburg Cathedral, the city’s most important symbol, the charming streets with Freiburg’s unique small water channels, Martin’s Tor, the medieval city gate, and Rathausplatz. ALSACE – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – (Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour) – MILAN After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off through the panoramic route of Heidi’s Villages, which feature many of the scenes remembered from the beloved character Heidi, who lived in the Alps with her grandfather and her best friend Peter, leaving sweet memories from our childhood, among vast mountains and green meadows. Then we continue toward Milan. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour (65 Euro). On this tour, our first stop will be Como. Upon arrival in Como, we visit Lake Como, famous for hosting the summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and we take a photo break while enjoying the lake’s unique view. After free time in Como, we head to Milan city center for the second part of our tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also notable for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining. During our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano will be among the main sights. At the end of the Milan Masterpieces Tour, transfer to our hotel. Check-in and free time to rest. MILAN – ST. MORITZ – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – MILAN After breakfast, we depart for St. Moritz for an unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. We arrive in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a favorite destination of the jet set, and after free time and a short orientation tour depending on the Bernina Express train schedule on the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina railway line, we go to the station for our unforgettable and magical train journey on the Bernina Express / Red Train. Built between 1898 and 1904, this world-famous line, now listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is a dream for many travel enthusiasts. During this fairy-tale journey, we will witness extraordinary scenery and have the chance to take photos. After approximately a 2-hour pleasant train ride, we arrive at Tirano Station and return to our hotel in the Milan area by the vehicle waiting for us. MILAN – OUTLET – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – NICE After breakfast and check-out, we depart for our outlet center visit. After free time for enjoyable and affordable shopping at Italy’s famous outlet center, home to prestigious brands, cafés, restaurants, and leisure areas, we complete the tour and continue to Nice. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our Portofino visit, we continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, check-in and free time to rest. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour, we will first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. While walking through the narrow, winding, traffic-free streets of the old town, there will be a chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our visit to La Croisette Boulevard, which runs along the Cannes coastline and is home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we arrive in Nice. In Nice, the sights to see include Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Courthouse. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region. NICE – (Annecy Tour) – GENEVA After breakfast and check-out, we head to Geneva. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals passing through it and the Thiou River, Annecy captivates visitors with its canal-based structure and extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our tour, Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and Palais de l’Isle, a magnet for photography lovers, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third-largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue to Geneva. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Geneva region, check-in and free time to rest. GENEVA – (Switzerland Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – BERN – ALSACE After breakfast and check-out, we conduct our city tour. Known as the “French of Switzerland” and located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Geneva is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations gives the city a central role in culture and administration. During our tour of Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and clean air come together, the main sights will be St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, a symbol of Geneva and rising up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we travel to Bern. Upon arrival in Bern, free time will be offered, during which guests who wish may join the optional Switzerland Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). The first stop of our tour will be Interlaken. Named from “inter-lakes” due to its location between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, Interlaken is famous for its natural beauty and breathtaking views. The region’s major hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are on our walking tour route. Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park will be seen panoramically. After free time for photos and sightseeing, we proceed to the train station for the next stop, Lauterbrunnen. After about a 20-minute train ride from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and the steep rock walls as we exit the station. Walking toward the village center, we will panoramically see the enchanting Staubbach Falls cascading toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements along the valley housing 72 waterfalls and its hiking trails. Along the designated walking route in the village, we will photograph the traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the wonderful, heavenly natural landscapes in abundance. After the tour, we return to Bern and conduct our city tour. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is included on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Bern, located within Switzerland and where the official language is German, also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour in Bern, which is built around the Aare River, we head to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time to rest. ALSACE / BASEL – (Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – ANTALYA After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Basel Airport for our return flight to Antalya. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, we first head to the fairy-tale city of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the most famous part of the city, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods and buy many souvenirs. Our next stop is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive rows of shops, pedestrian cobblestone streets, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafés, with its tower housing the Dolder Museum, which preserves the city’s story with documents and does not fall short of Grimm fairy tales. After our tour in Riquewihr, we continue our journey to Basel Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we board SunExpress Airlines’ direct scheduled flight XQ111 to Antalya at 18:55. Arrival at Antalya Airport at 23:15 local time, and the end of our tour.
