ANKARA – STUTTGART – ZÜRICH After completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight, we fly directly to Stuttgart on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ790 at 12:25. Upon arrival at Stuttgart Airport at 14:45 local time, we transfer by our private bus waiting for us at the airport to our hotel in the Zurich region. Upon arrival at the hotel, we take our rooms and have free time to rest. ZÜRICH – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – ST. MORITZ – OUTLET – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – ALSACE / BASEL After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Tirano for the unforgettable and enchanting train journey on the Bernina railway line. Built between 1898 and 1904 and today listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, this world-famous route, which fulfills the dreams of many travel enthusiasts, will offer us the chance to admire and photograph extraordinary landscapes during this fairytale-like journey. After an enjoyable approximately 2-hour train ride, we arrive in St. Moritz, the natural wonder and favorite destination of the jet set in Switzerland, and after free time and a short sightseeing tour depending on the Bernina railway departure time, we continue to our outlet center visit. After enjoyable free time for affordable and quality shopping at the outlet center, which hosts stylish stores of world-famous prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we depart for Zurich by our waiting vehicle. Following a panoramic drive through Heidi’s Villages, featuring the views of endless mountains and green meadows, where our beloved heroine Heidi, who lives with her grandfather and her best friend Peter in the Alps, will bring back many scenes remembered from the cartoon and left a smile in our childhood, we arrive in Zurich. Upon arrival in Zurich, on our city tour we will see, panoramically: Fraumünster Church, Grossmünster Church, the Swiss National Museum, the Opera House, Lake Zurich, the Clock Tower, the Old Guild Houses, Zurich Altstadt (Old Town), and Bahnhofstrasse (Station Street), a lively and colorful avenue surrounded by world-famous shops. After a short free time following the Zurich tour, transfer to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Take your rooms and free time to rest. ALSACE / BASEL – COLMAR – RIQUEWIHR – STRASBOURG – STUTTGART – ANKARA After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for the Colmar & Riquewihr Tour. On our tour, we first go to the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River in the city’s most famous area, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods and buy many souvenirs. Our next stop is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive rows of shops, cobblestone pedestrian streets, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafes; a town that resembles a Grimm fairy tale and includes the Dolder Museum, where the town’s story is documented and preserved to this day. After our visit to Riquewihr, we head to Strasbourg. Located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg welcomes us like something out of a fairy tale, as beautiful as a painting. In the vehicle-free center and streets of Strasbourg, which was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992, we will take a panoramic city tour on foot, during which we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important and oldest structure located in the heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city, which still serves as a hotel and restaurant today. After Strasbourg tour, following free time, we depart for Stuttgart Airport for our return flight to Ankara.
