Day 1 Ankara – Frankfurt – Strasbourg Meeting at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, international departures terminal, in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Frankfurt on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 792 at 07:00. Upon arrival in Frankfurt at 08:50 local time, our city tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. During our tour of this city, which stands out with its rich cultural heritage and modern lifestyle, we will see Römer Square (Römerberg) and Goethe House, where Goethe was born, from the outside. After the tour, we head to Strasbourg. While visiting Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling back in time through the largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods in Europe. With its nature and historical buildings reminiscent of a fairy tale land, timber-framed houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is a place well worth seeing. In addition, Strasbourg has historical significance as the place where the French national anthem, “La Marseillaise,” was written, and it appears as a city where Alsace culture and French architecture blend together. During our city tour, Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district decorated with traditional Alsace houses will be among the places seen. (100 Euro) In this tour, where we will want to take photos at every opportunity, our first stop will be Eguisheim. Awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. After the tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its historic buildings dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. As we walk through Colmar’s well-preserved streets, places to be seen include St. Martin’s Cathedral, built entirely from pink stone, Little Venice, which with its small canals resembles Venice in Italy, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, a medieval town in France. It is known for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical atmosphere. In particular, Château de Kaysersberg, a castle dating back to the 13th century, is one of the town’s most prominent landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church, located in the city center, also stands out with its Gothic architecture. Our final stop is Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting towns in Alsace, with many half-timbered houses giving the town its charm. This historic village enchants visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and its walled medieval atmosphere. On our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old walls of the village to experience the medieval ambiance. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. After exploring Baden Baden, a unique travel route that inspired many famous writers and composers, we proceed to Heidelberg, another magnificent city in Germany. Its streets, squares, and buildings make you feel the Middle Ages in every corner and take you on a journey through time. Heidelberg, a calm, elegant, and refined city, welcomes you with the harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle will be among the places seen. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or a hotel in the surrounding area. Day 4 Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Our guests who wish may join the extra tour of the Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne). (110 Euro) Our first stop is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall with a width of 150 meters and a height of 23 meters. This place, embraced by the strong arms of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the deep blue waters. After our enchanting walk, accompanied by the power of the water and the impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, which welcomes millions of visitors each year with its historic center, eye-catching Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After seeing the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches, as well as St. Peter’s Church, home to Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping center. After the tour, we continue to Lucerne, a historic city in the central part of Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this charming city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who died while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we finish our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or the surrounding area. Day 5 Strasbourg – Stuttgart – Ankara After breakfast, check out of the rooms and depart for Stuttgart. Located in southwestern Germany, tucked among lush green hills, Stuttgart stands out not only as an industrial giant but also for its elegant parks, vineyards, and cultural fabric. During our city tour, we will see Schlossplatz (Palace Square), the largest square in Stuttgart, Neues Schloss (New Palace), Altes Schloss (Old Castle), and Johanneskirche (St. John’s Church). After the tour, at the time specified by our guide, we head to the airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Ankara on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ791 at 19:40.
