ISTANBUL – AMSTERDAM After the baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures to be carried out 3 hours before the flight at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, we fly to Amsterdam at 10:30 on Turkish Airlines’ direct scheduled flight TK1957. Upon our arrival at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at 12:55 local time, we meet our private coach and depart to organize our city tour. On our panoramic city tour, Dam Square, the Royal Palace, and Central Station are among the main places to be seen. After our tour, during which we explore Amsterdam’s local neighborhoods and narrow streets, famous for its pedestrian paths and canals, from different perspectives and visit its world-famous streets, followed by free time, transfer to our hotel in the Amsterdam region. Check-in and free time for rest. AMSTERDAM – (Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills and Giethoorn Hobbit Village Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join our optional Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills and Giethoorn Hobbit Village Tour (125 Euro). On our tour, we first arrive in Volendam. In this fishing town, we complete our program with a walking tour along the seafront road filled with well-kept and beautiful houses, restaurants, and cafés, and then head to our next stop, Zaanse Schans. With its windmills, museums, nature, and culture, this historic town is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Netherlands. After our visit to Zaanse Schans, where we will see the windmills used today for paint and oil production as well as shops selling handmade souvenirs such as wooden clogs, we head to Giethoorn. In this part of our tour, we visit Giethoorn, called the “Fairy Tale Land” for its peaceful atmosphere and canals. With its pristine nature away from motor vehicles, bridges, canals, and charming houses that are a unique architectural marvel, Giethoorn ranks first on the list of the world’s most peaceful places. After our sightseeing in Giethoorn Hobbit Village, guests who wish can, at an additional cost (optional boat tour fee 10 Euro), take a boat ride on the canals of this fairy-tale town in wooden boats and have the chance to view the charming houses resembling the living spaces of Hobbits from a different perspective. After our tour in Giethoorn, we return to our hotel in the Amsterdam region. AMSTERDAM – (Brugge and Outlet Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join our optional Brugge and Outlet Tour (125 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Brugge. Known as the “Venice of Belgium” thanks to its houses on the water and canal streets, Brugge is like a dream city. The city’s historical structure and medieval architecture have survived to this day, having miraculously escaped damage during World War II. The colorful, single-story, cake-like houses, churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets we encounter in the city square will draw us into a fairy tale. After our visit to Brugge, we continue to the outlet center. Home to stylish stores of world-famous prestigious brands, cafés and restaurants, and areas for personal activities, the outlet center offers free time for quality shopping at affordable prices, after which we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Amsterdam region. AMSTERDAM – (Grand Holland: Rotterdam & Delft & The Hague Tour) – ISTANBUL After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart at the time indicated by our guide for Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to take our return flight to Istanbul. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Grand Holland: Rotterdam & Delft & The Hague Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be The Hague. In The Hague, the administrative capital of the country, the Parliament Building, the Royal Palace, and the European Court of Human Rights are among the places to be seen, and after our visit to The Hague, where we may encounter Dutch parliamentarians in the streets and cafés of daily life, we head to Rotterdam. Dating back to the 1270s, rebuilt almost from scratch after World War II, and now home to Europe’s largest port, Rotterdam is the Netherlands’ largest city in terms of population and its most important economic and commercial center. During our city tour, the Erasmus Bridge and Cube Houses will be the main architectural highlights and of interest. After some free time following the Rotterdam city tour, we reach Delft, our final stop. With its canals from the Middle Ages, narrow streets, and brick architecture, Delft offers a typical Dutch atmosphere, and with its blue-and-white ceramics, it is famous. After our sightseeing and free time in Delft, we complete our tour and continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 23:10 on Turkish Airlines’ direct scheduled flight TK1956.
