Day 1: Adana - Skopje
Meet at the Ajet Airlines counter in the departure terminal of Adana Çukurova Airport 3 hours before the flight. Depart Adana at 22:05 on Ajet Airlines direct flight to Skopje. After approximately two hours of comfortable travel, arrival at 23:25. After the country entry procedures, transfer to our hotel with our private vehicle waiting at the airport. Day 2: Skopje – Kosovo (Pristina – Prizren) - Skopje
After our breakfast in the morning, there will be free time. Guests who wish can join the extra Kosovo tour (90 Euro) that will be organized. Upon arrival in Pristina, we will start our panoramic city tour where we will explore both the modern and historical aspects of Kosovo. During this tour, we will visit Germia Park, one of the most important natural beauties of Pristina. Then we will see the Kosovo Museum, showcasing Kosovo's cultural heritage. During our tour, we will also visit numerous valuable structures from the Ottoman period, including Fatih Sultan Mehmed Mosque and the 18th-century Yaşar Paşa Mosque. While touring the historical heritage of the city, we will visit the Tomb of Sultan Murad I, who was killed in the Kosovo Plain as a result of the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, and have the opportunity to commemorate this important historical event and its place in Ottoman history. After our tour in Pristina, we move to Prizren, known as the cultural capital of Kosovo. Upon arrival, we will start to explore the narrow streets of Prizren, which remind of an Anatolian Ottoman city with its architecture and signboards filled with Turkish inscriptions. We will visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque, one of the most important examples of Ottoman architecture in the city. Other significant Ottoman artifacts to be seen include the Halveti Tekke, the Bayraklı Mosque, and the Mehmet Paşa Bath. Day 3: Skopje – Belgrade
After breakfast in the morning, we leave our hotel and embark on a pleasant journey to Serbia's capital, Belgrade. Throughout history, Belgrade has been one of the most important cultural and strategic centers in the Balkans, and it continues to attract attention with its liveliness, vibrancy, and historic texture. In this captivating city, we will have the opportunity to explore the intersection of Ottoman and European cultures. After our arrival in Belgrade, we start a panoramic city tour where we will explore the city’s grandeur. Initially, we will see the Old Palace, known for its exquisite adornment ceilings, bearing the traces of the Ottoman period. Here, you can feel the historic atmosphere and discover the texture that merges Belgrade's past with its present. Next, we proceed to one of the most impressive spots in the city, where the Sava River meets the Danube River. It will be a great pleasure to explore this area, which has been the focal point of conquests and victories throughout history. Continuing our exploration of this ancient city, you will encounter Belgrade Fortress, which was used as a supply center for the Ottoman navy. While tracing the traces of history in this fortress, we will see important locations like Kale Square and Taş Meydan. During our tour, we will also visit the tomb of Şehit Ali Pasha, an important figure of the Ottoman era, and Bayraklı Mosque, one of the rare Ottoman structures still standing in Belgrade. These visits will allow you to deeply explore Belgrade’s rich history and gain insight into the cultural heritage from the Ottoman period. Our tour will continue with a visit to the Military Museum. This museum is filled with artifacts illuminating Belgrade's military history and offers a highly impressive experience for visitors. Day 4: Belgrade – Sarajevo
After breakfast in the morning, we head towards the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo. After our arrival, Sarajevo has been a cultural capital of the Balkans for centuries and is historically known for the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand by Serbs in 1914, which caused the outbreak of World War I. In the 1992 war, it suffered great damage due to the destructive conflicts between Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, yet Sarajevo has managed to preserve much of its beauty. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the famous Başçarşı, the historical Ottoman caravanserai Morica Han, the Catholic Cathedral reflecting the city’s religious cosmopolitanism, the Synagogue, Hüsrev Bey and Ferhadija Mosques, the Latin Bridge where the assassination of Franz Ferdinand took place in 1914, the Old Library, and western-style buildings created during the 40 years of the Austro-Hungarian administration. After breakfast in the morning, we set out from Sarajevo towards Medjugorje, where we will be staying. Upon arrival, guests can join the extra tours offered for Mostar Bridge and Blagaj. Medjugorje is known especially for its peaceful atmosphere with religious visitors. After we check into our hotel, we settle in our rooms and have some time to rest. Here, we will see the Mostar Bridge, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557. Upon our arrival in Tirana, we will embark on a tour of this historically and culturally rich city, known as the center of Bektashism in Europe. Upon arrival, we will visit the Ethem Bey Mosque, one of the cultural heritage sites of Albania, which started construction in 1789 and completed in 1923. We will take a short break at Skanderbeg Square, seeing the statue of Skanderbeg proudly rising in the middle. The Clock Tower, built by Ethem Bey in 1821, will also be one of the highlights of our tour. Next, we will visit the meaningful Peace Bell, made from melted lead during the rebellion of Shkodra children in 1999. After breakfast in the morning, we set off for our tour of Resne and Bitola, known for its magnificent nature and historical richness. Our first stop will be in Resne, where we will see the palace of Resneli Niyazi Bey, an important figure in Balkan history, from a panoramic view. Resne offers a fascinating atmosphere with both its nature and Ottoman traces. After a short break here, we head to Bitola, which was once one of the most important culture and trade centers of the Ottomans. Upon arrival in Bitola, we will visit the Military Secondary School where our great leader Atatürk studied, and the Atatürk Museum from outside. You will also have the opportunity to discover historical artifacts from the Ottoman era, such as the Turkish Bazaar, Bedesten, İshak Pasha Mosque, and Yeni Mosque in this enchanting city. While feeling the historical texture of Bitola, you will have the chance to take a pleasant walk on the city’s nostalgic streets.
