Day 1 Istanbul – Düsseldorf – Amsterdam
Meet in front of Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departure Terminal 3 hours before flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Düsseldorf with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1523 at 06:50. Arrive at 09:05 local time, then transfer to our vehicle for a city tour of Düsseldorf, one of Germany's most important cities for culture, art, and industry. Sightseeing includes Rheinturm revolving restaurant, Schloss Benrath which has nurtured Germany’s leading thinkers, the shopping street Königsallee, and the lush Horfgarten. After the tour, continue to Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands bordering Germany to the east and Belgium to the south, enjoy a city tour featuring Dam Square, Central Station, National Monument, Royal Palace, Flower Market, and Red Light District. Afterward, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Amsterdam – Zaanse Schans – Marken – Volendam – Giethoorn – Amsterdam
After breakfast at the hotel, guests may choose to join an optional tour called Enchanting Fairytale Villages and Water Canals (Zaanse Schans & Marken & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village) for an extra fee of 100 Euro. The tour begins at Zaanse Schans, a historic 17th-century village still with functioning windmills and untouched nature, resembling an open-air museum. Next, visit Marken, a remarkable island-turned-peninsula with a rich history. Then move to Volendam, a picturesque fishing town with characteristic houses and traditional dress, famous for seafood and cheese. Finally, visit Giethoorn Hobbit Village, one of Europe’s most enchanting places, known for its canals and thatched-roof cottages, drawing over 800,000 tourists annually since its featured scene in the 1958 film "Fanfare." Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 Amsterdam – Bruges – Ghent – Brussels
After breakfast, depart for Brussels. On the way, guests can opt for an additional tour of Bruges & Ghent for 75 Euro, both cities UNESCO World Heritage sites with well-preserved medieval architecture. Bruges is famous for its canals, cobbled streets, historic buildings, squares, and bridges. Ghent, established in 1400, located where Scheldt and Lys rivers meet, boasts Gothic architecture, university, and historic monuments from the Middle Ages. After exploring, head to Brussels, one of the most striking stops in Benelux, with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Sightseeing includes Royal Palace, Chinese and Japanese Houses, Brussels Cathedral, Grand Place, Borsa Building, Atomium, and Manneken Pis. Afterward, transfer to the hotel for rest and overnight stay.
Day 4 Brussels – Paris
After breakfast, set off for Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world. Upon arrival, visit Charles de Gaulle and Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Louvre Museum with Pyramid, Etoile Square, Grand Palais, Petit Palais, Concorde Square with Obelisk, French Parliament, Alexandre III Bridge, Seine River, Napoleon’s Tomb, and Eiffel Tower. Then, transfer to the hotel and enjoy free time.
Day 5 Paris
After breakfast, guests can opt for an optional tour called Magnificent Paris Masterpieces & Seine River Cruise, including Eiffel Tower, Seine cruise, Montmartre Artist Hill & Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and Notre Dame Cathedral for 100 Euro. Visit the iconic Eiffel Tower and ascend to the 2nd floor for panoramic views. Embark on a Seine River cruise to see historic buildings along both banks. Ascend Montmartre using the cable car, and visit Sacré-Cœur Basilica, renowned for its stunning architecture, and explore Montmartre’s artistic atmosphere. Stop at Tertre Square for shopping and portraits. Then visit Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1137 and 1180, a symbol of Paris’s power and culture. Short photo stop follows. Transfer back to the hotel for overnight stay. Alternatively, guests can choose an optional evening tour called Under the Lights of Paris for 30 Euro, to see the city illuminated with its many landmarks.
Day 6 Paris – Luxembourg
After breakfast, depart for Luxembourg. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour including Notre Dame Cathedral, Duke’s Palace, Town Hall, and Constitution Square. Guests may also join an optional tour called Magnificent History & Mosaics (Trier & Remich & Schengen) for 55 Euro, visiting Trier, Germany’s oldest city founded in 15 BC, with sites like Porta Nigra, Roman ruins, St. Peter’s Cathedral, and Karl Marx’s birthplace. Then, visit the town of Remich, known as a tax haven for cheap chocolates, coffees, and liquors. Finally, visit the Schengen area, where the EU passport-free travel agreement was signed. Enjoy tasting local wines and viewing the Schengen Monument before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7 Luxembourg – Strasbourg
After breakfast, drive to Strasbourg, considered the jewel of the Alsace region. Explore cobbled medieval streets, half-timbered houses, historic churches, and the Strasbourg Cathedral, where the French national anthem "La Marseillaise" was written. See Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and Petit France with its Alsace-style houses. Guests may also join an optional tour called Enchanting Alsace’s Fairy Tale Villages (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) for 100 Euro. Start with Eguisheim, voted France’s favorite village in 2013, known for its colorful houses and charming ambiance. Next, visit Colmar, with well-preserved streets, the pink-stone Saint Martin’s Cathedral, Little Venice area, Maison Pfister, and Maison des Têtes. Then, explore Kaysersberg, renowned for its medieval castle and Gothic church. End the day at Riquewihr, a historic village with colorful houses, cobbled streets, and medieval ramparts. Return to Strasbourg or nearby hotel for overnight.
Day 8 Strasbourg – Freiburg – Basel
After breakfast, check out and head to Freiburg, a picturesque medieval city near the Black Forest. Visit Freiburg Cathedral, Markthalle, Münsterplatz, Rathausplatz, Kaiser Joseph Street, Augustinerplatz, Adelhauser Platz, and Gerberau. Then, proceed to Basel, Switzerland’s third-largest city after Zurich and Geneva, blending modern and historic features. See Basel Cathedral, Marktplatz, City Hall, and Hotel Les Trois Rois. After city exploration, transfer to Basel Airport. After check-in and passport procedures, depart to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines TK 1926 at 18:55. Arrival in Istanbul at 23:05 local time marks the end of the tour.
