We will pick up our guests from the specified locations and head to İpsala via Tekirdağ. After passport and customs procedures, we will continue our journey by road to Kavala.
Day 2: Kavala – Thessaloniki – Bitola (Monastir) & Resne – St. Naum - Ohrid
Upon arrival in Kavala, we will have breakfast and take a break to taste delicious Kavala cookies. After our breakfast break, we will take a short photo break on the beautiful Kavala beaches before heading to Thessaloniki. After arriving in Thessaloniki, we will start our panoramic city tour. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the Waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Fair, Thessaloniki Fortress, Ottoman and Byzantine artifacts. We will visit the Church of Aya Dimitros, the largest church in Greece, and the house of the founder of the Turkish Consulate, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. After that, guests who wish can join the optional tour of Bitola (Monastir) & Resne Ottoman Traces. Following our tour, we will arrive at Ohrid, the jewel of the Balkans. Day 3: Ohrid – Matka Canyon - Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Skopje
After breakfast at the hotel, we will tour Ohrid, a city named after Lake Ohrid, one of the largest lakes in the Balkans; during our tour, we will see places like: Halveti Tekkesi which has been around since the 17th century, the symbolic Tree of Ohrid, the Turkish Bazaar, Ali Pasha Mosque which has reopened for worship after a long restoration, Ohrid Harbor, Quarantine Church, and the Turkish and Horasan houses that will make you feel like you are in a movie set, Arches, Ancient Egnatia Road, Keraklea Lynketis, Clock Tower, Church of Aya Dimitri, Aya Sofya Church, and Aya Clement Monastery, and Samoil Fortress will be seen panoramically. After the tour, guests who wish can join the optional Matka Canyon tour. We will start our journey to the capital Skopje. On our route, we will visit Tetova (Kalkandelen), the third-largest city in the country and the area with the highest Albanian population. We will visit the Alaca Mosque and its Imaret. After our visit, we will continue our journey to the capital Skopje and start our city tour. Day 4: Skopje – Pristina – Prizren – Shkodra
After breakfast, we will leave our hotel and cross into the Republic of Kosovo, one of the world’s youngest countries. Our first stop will be the capital, Pristina. Upon our arrival, we will conduct a panoramic city tour where we will see the Clock Tower from the 19th century, Germia Park, Kosovo Museum, the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Mosque built by the Ottomans in the 15th century, the 18th-century Yasar Pasha Mosque known for its unique interior decorations, and the tomb of Ottoman Sultan Murad I, who was killed in the 1389 Battle of Kosovo. After a free time and lunch break, we will head to Shkodra. On the way, guests who wish can join an optional tour of Prizren. After our tour, we will discover the historical and natural beauties of Shkodra panoramically. We will take a photo break for the lake and river view from the foot of Rozafa Castle, after which we will have a brief city tour, seeing the mosques, stone houses from the Ottoman era, and the area surrounding Lake Shkodra. Our first stop in Montenegro will be Budva, one of the most famous holiday resorts in the Balkans with its stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife. We will take a walking tour to explore the Old Town (Stari Grad) and the fortress, allowing ample free time to enjoy Budva. Afterwards, we will take a brief stop to see the magnificent St. Stefan from the top, a former fishing village that was turned into a tourist destination after being purchased by a Singapore billionaire. Finally, we will arrive in Kotor, famous for its fjords and a charming medieval town. We will walk through the Old City and the fortress during our tour, uncovering the beauty of this delightful place. After free time until the time set by our guide, we will head to our hotel. After breakfast, we will check out of the rooms and head towards Mostar. Guests who wish can join the optional tour of Historical Treasures of Herzegovina, Počitelj & Blagaj. After our tour, we will arrive at Mostar, known for its stunning architecture including the Mostar Bridge, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture built in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin. The bridge was destroyed during the war in 1992 but was rebuilt in 2004 with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey. After visiting the Mostar Bridge, we will also see Koski Mehmet Paşa Mosque. After some free time, we will continue on to Sarajevo. Once we arrive, we will conduct a panoramic city tour in Sarajevo, which has been the cultural capital of the Balkans for centuries and witnessed major historical events including the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914, leading to the outbreak of World War I, and has suffered massive devastation during the wars of 1992. After breakfast, we will proceed to the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, which is home to important Ottoman monuments and one of the oldest cities in Europe. Guests interested can participate in the Srebrenica Tour occurring en route. After our journey, we will have a vibrant city tour in Belgrade, a symbol of liveliness and activity, where we will see the Old Palace adorned with magnificent carved ceilings dating back to the Turkish period, the Millennium Monument, the fortress of Belgrade located where the Sava River meets the Danube, the Fortress Square, Tašmajdan Park, the Military Museum, and the tomb of Şehit Ali Pasha.
