After our panoramic tour, we head to our hotel. If the rooms are ready, we check in; if the standard check-in time has not yet started, we leave our belongings in the area designated by the hotel and make use of the facilities.

We have lunch at our hotel. Since our hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh operates on an alcohol-free all-inclusive concept, we enjoy lunch, dinner and non-alcoholic beverages within the hotel's designated service hours and concept scope.

Throughout the journey, a sufficient amount of drinking water is provided free of charge in our vehicles. In-vehicle Wi-Fi may be used free of charge, subject to local coverage and usage quota.

Upon reaching Dahab, we transfer to 4x4 off-road vehicles and begin our jeep canyon tour, during which we get to know the impressive nature of Sinai. While traveling between mountain passes, desert roads and rock formations shaped by varying color tones, we learn about the region's geological structure and Bedouin way of life through our guide's explanations. The canyon route is determined by the local team according to weather, road, safety and official permit conditions.

DAY 4 | MOUNT MOSES – ST. CATHERINE – CAIRO

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF MOSES: THE MOUNTAIN, THE BURNING BUSH AND THE ANCIENT MONASTERY

After midnight, at the time set by our guide, we leave our hotel with breakfast boxes for the climb of Mount Moses. During our walk beginning under a sky full of stars, in the silence of Sinai, we listen to accounts of the life of Prophet Moses, his struggle for monotheism, revelation, and the significance of Mount Sinai for the three Abrahamic religions.

The Mount Moses climb is included in the tour price. The route involves a long night walk, steep and uneven rocky ground, high steps, altitude, cold, wind and moving in darkness. The final section includes approximately 750 stone steps. The total walking time may reach approximately 6–7 hours depending on the group's pace and conditions. Participants should carry suitable walking shoes, layered warm clothing, gloves, a warm hat and a personal light source.

Guests with cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, serious knee, back or joint problems, balance issues, advanced mobility limitations, recent surgery, or any health condition that may prevent intense physical exertion must obtain a doctor's opinion and inform the agency before joining the climb. The guide or local authorities may limit the participation of guests they do not consider safe to take part.

Guests who do not wish to climb, or who cannot participate due to health or physical fitness, may rest at the hotel. Since the Mount Moses climb is an integral part of the package program and included in the price, no refund, discount or substitution with another service will be offered to guests who do not participate.

Guests who take part in the climb return to the hotel after completing the program, and then we visit St. Catherine's Monastery, considered one of the oldest continuously operating monasteries in the world. Built during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinian I, this historic structure has remained for centuries a special center respected by different faiths, in a region associated in sacred texts with the place where Moses received God's address.

Inside the monastery we see the Burning Bush area associated with the story of Moses, and listen to the account of his life: his arrival in Midian, his bond with the family of Prophet Shuaib, his prophetic mission, his struggle against the Pharaoh, the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, and his receiving divine commands on Mount Sinai. (Due to the monastery's opening hours after 11:00 and religious services held on certain dates, visitors are not admitted inside the monastery for the entire day. On these dates and times, the monastery will be viewed from the outside.)

St. Catherine is significant not only for Christian history but also for Islamic civilization and Ottoman history. The mosque built within the monastery courtyard in the 12th century during the Fatimid period is one of the symbols of the culture of coexistence that developed between Muslims and the monastic community over the centuries. The minaret of the mosque and the bell tower of the monastery rising side by side within the same historic complex strongly reflect the interfaith memory of Sinai.

In monastic tradition, a charter of protection attributed to Prophet Muhammad is recounted as an important memory of the protective attitude of Muslim rulers toward the monastery in the region. After the beginning of Ottoman rule, Sultan Selim I confirmed the monastery's historical privileges and protection; subsequent Ottoman administrators continued this tradition of protection. The traces left in Sinai by Muslim pilgrims, state officials and travelers show that St. Catherine is an ancient place of visitation where different belief worlds meet.

After our visit, we set off for Cairo in our private vehicle. During our long journey, a sufficient amount of drinking water is provided, along with limited tea, coffee and snacks.

Upon arrival at our hotel in the Cairo/Giza area, we settle into our rooms. We have dinner at our hotel.

Dinner is included. Limited beverages will be served during the meal.

Accommodation at our hotel in the Cairo/Giza area.

DAY 5 | CAIRO

FROM SALADIN TO AL-AZHAR: SULTANS, SCHOLARS AND THE BLESSING OF FRIDAY

After breakfast at our hotel, we set off to explore Cairo, Egypt's historical, cultural and spiritual center.

Throughout the day, a sufficient amount of drinking water is provided free of charge in our vehicles. In-vehicle Wi-Fi may be used free of charge, subject to local coverage and usage quota. As lunch is not included in the program today, snacks are offered in the vehicle at an appropriate time.

Our first stop in Cairo is the Citadel of Saladin, rising over the Mokattam Hills overlooking the city. Built during the Crusades to protect Cairo, the citadel reflects the foresight and defensive vision of Saladin, one of the most important rulers of the Islamic world. We see the successive traces of the Ayyubid, Mamluk and Ottoman periods in this historic site, which served as Egypt's administrative center for centuries.

Within the citadel, we first visit the Muhammad Ali Pasha Mosque, one of the most distinctive structures in the Cairo skyline. With domes and elegant minarets bearing the influence of Ottoman architecture and a spacious interior, the mosque is one of the most magnificent works left by Muhammad Ali Pasha, the Kavalali who shaped Egypt's military, administrative and social transformation during the Ottoman period.

From the mosque courtyard, we enjoy a wide panorama of Cairo, with the historic Islamic Cairo on one side and the sprawling neighborhoods of the modern city on the other. Beside the tomb of Muhammad Ali Pasha inside the mosque, we hear about his place in Egyptian history and his connection to the Ottoman State.

Next, we visit the Sultan an-Nasir Muhammad Mosque, an important Mamluk-era work within the citadel. For centuries, Mamluk sultans and members of the court performed their Friday prayers in this historic mosque, which stands out for its balanced architecture and elegant details. The two mosques within the same citadel offer the opportunity to compare the architectural approaches of the Mamluk and Ottoman periods.

After our citadel visit, we move on to the Sultan Hassan Mosque and Madrasa and the Al-Rifai Mosque, which rise opposite each other.

The Sultan Hassan Mosque, one of the most magnificent works of Mamluk architecture, was built not only as a place of worship but as a large educational center where the Quran, hadith, jurisprudence and other sciences of the time were taught. This structure, where different circles of learning came together under one roof, is an impressive example of how mosque and madrasa, worship and education, were not separated in Islamic civilization.

The Al-Rifai Mosque, located directly opposite the Sultan Hassan Mosque, opens another door to Cairo's more recent history. Beyond its spiritual identity, the presence of tombs of members of the Egyptian royal family makes this area a special place of visitation from both religious and historical perspectives. The two great structures rising opposite each other bring together centuries from the Mamluk period to modern Egypt in the same square.

Since today is Friday, we arrange our program as much as possible around prayer times. We aim to perform our Friday prayer at the Sultan Hassan Mosque or Al-Azhar Mosque. If this is not possible due to visiting hours, crowding, security or official procedures, we perform our prayer at another suitable mosque along the route.

Continuing our program, we visit the Al-Azhar Mosque, one of the oldest centers of learning in the Islamic world. Since its founding, Al-Azhar has hosted students from different regions for centuries and has held a decisive place in the intellectual, educational and scholarly life not only of Egypt but of the entire Islamic world.

As we walk through the courtyards and historic sections where study circles were established, we listen to the stories of the scholars trained here and of students who came to Cairo from different parts of the world to learn. The centuries-old educational tradition of Al-Azhar conveys the place of knowledge transmitted from generation to generation within Islamic civilization.

Then we visit the Mosque and Shrine of Imam Hussein, which holds a very special place in the spiritual life of the people of Cairo. According to a long-established religious tradition in Egypt, the blessed head of Imam Hussein is believed to be located here. For this reason, the mosque and its surroundings are among the visitation centers where love for the Ahl al-Bayt is felt most strongly in Cairo.

Here we remember the great trial that the beloved grandson of the Prophet, Imam Hussein, endured at Karbala and his steadfastness for justice and truth, and we listen to how love and reverence for the Ahl al-Bayt are reflected in the religious and cultural life of the Egyptian people. In the spiritual atmosphere of the shrine, we offer our prayers and spend a short time in contemplation.

After our visit, we move on to Muizz Street in the heart of historic Cairo. Walking among mosques, madrasas, sabils, tombs and historic houses that have survived from the Fatimid, Ayyubid, Mamluk and Ottoman periods, we proceed through a corridor of civilization resembling an open-air museum.

Among facades decorated with stone craftsmanship, wooden windows, narrow streets and markets that have kept their vitality for centuries, we feel the bond Cairo has maintained between past and present. Here we get to know not only architectural works but a living Islamic city where the call to prayer, commerce, worship and daily life intertwine.

We continue our walk to Khan el-Khalili, one of Cairo's most famous historic bazaars. We have free time to shop and explore among spice merchants, coppersmiths, fabric sellers, traditional handicraft shops and historic coffeehouses.

In the evening, we move on to the Al Saraya moored boat restaurant on the banks of the Nile. We enjoy our dinner, served as a buffet, accompanied by the evening view of the Nile.

The buffet dinner at Al Saraya is included. Limited beverages will be served during the meal.

After that, we return to the hotel.

Accommodation at our hotel in the Cairo/Giza area.

DAY 6 | GIZA – CAIRO

FROM ANCIENT EGYPT TO THE SPIRITUAL TRACES OF THE AHL AL-BAYT

After breakfast at our hotel, we set off to discover the Pyramids of Giza, one of the most impressive structures in human history.

Throughout the day, a sufficient amount of drinking water is provided free of charge in our vehicles. In-vehicle Wi-Fi may be used free of charge, subject to local coverage and usage quota. As lunch is not included in the program today, snacks are offered in the vehicle at an appropriate time.

Upon reaching the Giza Plateau, the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure stand before us in all their grandeur, having endured for thousands of years. These monumental structures, reflecting the concept of eternity held by ancient Egyptian rulers, their notion of power, and their belief in an afterlife, are remarkable not only for their engineering achievements but also for humanity's quest in the face of time and eternity.

Accompanied by our guide's explanations, we learn how and for what purpose the pyramids were built, the understanding of pharaohs in ancient Egyptian society, and the life that took shape around these great structures. Standing before works built thousands of years ago, we have the opportunity to reflect on the traces humans leave in the world, the power of time, and the transience of all worldly splendor.

We take a photo stop at the panoramic viewpoint from where we can see all three great pyramids together. Then we see the Sphinx, with a human head and lion's body, regarded as the ancient guardian of the Giza Plateau. We listen to the symbolic meanings carried by the Sphinx, which silently gazes at the pyramids, and to the stories that have formed around it over the centuries.

Continuing our tour, we visit the Valley Temple, which was used in connection with the funerary ceremonies of the pharaohs and their understanding of life after death. In this area we learn that the pyramids were not merely independent tombs but part of a larger whole made up of temples, causeways and ceremonial spaces.

After our Giza visit, we go to a papyrus workshop where we get to know Egypt's traditional culture. We watch how the papyrus plant, which grows along the banks of the Nile, was processed in ancient times and transformed into a surface for writing and painting. Guests who wish may examine handmade papyrus works here and shop.

Then we visit a perfume and essence center to learn about Egypt's thousands-year-old tradition of scents and essences. We learn about how traditional essences are prepared, the plants used, and the place of fragrance in Egyptian culture.

In the second part of the day, we visit Cairo's spiritual centers that reflect love for the Ahl al-Bayt and its tradition of learning. Leaving behind the stone-carved splendor of ancient Egypt, we now follow the traces of a different heritage kept alive for centuries through prayer and devotion.

Our first visit is to the mosque and shrine attributed to Sayyida Nafisa, a descendant of Imam Hasan, the grandson of the Prophet. Known for her knowledge, worship, generosity and noble character, Sayyida Nafisa has held a special place in Cairo's spiritual life for centuries.

Here we listen to the story of Sayyida Nafisa's life, her devotion to knowledge and worship, and the deep love the people of Egypt feel for her. In the peaceful atmosphere of the shrine, we offer our prayers and spend a short time in contemplation.

Next, we visit the Mosque and Mausoleum of Imam al-Shafi'i, one of the greatest jurists of the Islamic world. Imam al-Shafi'i spent the final period of his life in Egypt, where he matured his thought through his scholarly work and left a great intellectual legacy that influenced later generations.

Through our guide's explanations, we get to know the life story of Imam al-Shafi'i, his journeys in pursuit of knowledge, his careful consideration of different opinions, and his place in Islamic legal thought. During this visit, we are reminded once again of the importance of knowledge, good character and the pursuit of truth in Islamic civilization.

Our next stop is the mosque and shrine attributed, according to a long-standing tradition in Egypt, to Sayyida Zaynab, daughter of Imam Ali and Fatima and granddaughter of the Prophet.

The life of Sayyida Zaynab is remembered for the patience, steadfastness and dignity she showed in the face of the great suffering endured by the Ahl al-Bayt. In particular, the responsibility she assumed after Karbala and her courage in voicing the truth made her one of the most powerful female figures in Islamic history.

In the spiritual atmosphere of the shrine, we listen to the account of Sayyida Zaynab's patience, resolve and loyalty to her family, and we feel how love for the Ahl al-Bayt is kept alive in the religious and cultural life of Egyptian society.

Depending on the route, visiting hours and the suitability of worship arrangements, other selected shrines of the Ahl al-Bayt and Islamic scholars mentioned in the program may also be visited. At prayer times, we perform our prayers at mosques along the visiting points where this is possible.

After our spiritual visits, we head to the Mevlana Restaurant to have dinner.

Our dinner menu includes lentil soup, cold mezes and salad varieties, mixed grill with rice, okra stew, dessert and fruit.

Dinner is included. Limited beverages will be served during the meal.

After that, we return to our hotel.

Accommodation at our hotel in the Cairo/Giza area.

DAY 7 | CAIRO – TANTA – ALEXANDRIA

TO THE MEDITERRANEAN IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF SUFISM: FROM SAYYID AHMAD AL-BADAWI TO ABU AL-ABBAS AL-MURSI

After breakfast at our hotel, we check out and set off for Tanta, one of the important cities of the Nile Delta.

Throughout the journey, a sufficient amount of drinking water is provided free of charge in our vehicles. In-vehicle Wi-Fi may be used free of charge, subject to local coverage and usage quota. On sections where road and traffic conditions are safe and suitable, limited tea, coffee and snacks are offered to our guests.

Today's journey brings together on one route two great figures of Egyptian spirituality and the spiritual heritage that developed around them. As we follow the traces of Sayyid Ahmad al-Badawi in Tanta and Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi in Alexandria, we closely sense how the Sufi tradition touched Egypt's urban life, its culture of worship and the spiritual world of its people.

Upon arriving in Tanta, we visit the Mosque and Mausoleum of Sayyid Ahmad al-Badawi, which rises in the heart of the city. After a life journey extending from North Africa to the Hijaz and then to Egypt, Sayyid Ahmad al-Badawi settled in Tanta and became one of the most revered spiritual figures in Egypt through a life dedicated to knowledge, worship and spiritual upbringing.

With his settling in Tanta, the city gradually acquired not only the role of an important trade center but also the identity of a powerful spiritual center where people gather to pray and to attend gatherings of knowledge and wisdom. The Sufi tradition that developed around Sayyid Ahmad al-Badawi brought people together in Tanta from different regions of Egypt for centuries, making the city an important place of visitation closely associated with his name.

In the peaceful atmosphere of the mosque and mausoleum, we listen to the story of Sayyid Ahmad al-Badawi's life, his place in the spiritual memory of the people of Tanta, and the Sufi tradition that developed around him. We offer our prayers and, where visiting and worship conditions allow, perform our prayer here.

After our visit to Tanta, we set off for Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast.

Upon reaching Alexandria, we begin to get to know this ancient port city, which bears traces of different cultures from Alexander the Great to the Greco-Roman world, and from the Islamic civilization to the Mamluk and Ottoman periods. Surrounded by the blue of the Mediterranean, Alexandria has throughout history been a meeting point not only for trading ships but also for ideas, scholars, mystics and different civilizations.

Our first visit is to the Mosque and Mausoleum of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi, one of Alexandria's most important spiritual centers. Known for a life journey that began in Andalusia and extended through North Africa to Alexandria, Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi is an important spiritual figure who left a deep mark on the city's intellectual and Sufi life.

His story is also the story of a spiritual and cultural bond established between the two shores of the Mediterranean. Bringing the knowledge and wisdom he carried from Andalusia together with the multicultural world of Alexandria, Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi contributed to shaping the spiritual identity of the city through the circles of conversation and education that formed around him.

Today, the mosque bearing his name, with its domes, elegant minarets and impressive stone craftsmanship, is one of the most striking Islamic landmarks on Alexandria's skyline. Inside the mosque and around the mausoleum, we see how the city's daily life and the centuries-old tradition of spiritual visitation coexist.

We listen to the life of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi and his place in the Sufi tradition, and we offer our prayers during our visit to the shrine. Where visiting and worship conditions allow, we perform our prayer at the mosque.

After our spiritual visit, we move on to the Qaitbay Citadel, rising on the Mediterranean shore. Built by the Mamluk Sultan Qaitbay to protect Alexandria against dangers from the sea, this magnificent citadel is one of the important structures in the history of Islamic defense in the Mediterranean.

Rising in the area where the Lighthouse of Alexandria, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood, the citadel brings together different historical periods of the city at a single point. The rise of a fortress protecting the city at the site where the great lighthouse once guided sailors shows that Alexandria has maintained its character as a strategic gateway to the Mediterranean throughout history.

Around the citadel, we enjoy a panoramic view of the Mediterranean and the Alexandria coastline and feel the strong bond the city has with the sea.

Continuing our program, we get a panoramic view of important points of Alexandria that reflect its different layers of civilization. As we see the Roman-era monument known locally as Pompey's Pillar, we listen to the story of Alexandria's Greco-Roman past.

Then we see from the outside the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which keeps alive the memory of the ancient Library of Alexandria, one of the most important centers of learning in antiquity. The structure, a symbol of knowledge, research and intercultural exchange, represents Alexandria's claim to be a city of learning and culture today, as it was in the past.

During our panoramic tour along the coastline, we observe the ports opening onto the Mediterranean, the historic urban fabric and the distinctive daily life of Alexandria. If the program and time conditions allow, we view the Montaza area and palace gardens panoramically or with a short visit.

After the day's visits, we move to our selected local restaurant on the Alexandria seafront. Our dinner, enjoyed with a view of the Mediterranean, includes cold mezes and salad varieties, the catch of the day grilled or fried, and dessert or fruit.

Dinner is included. Limited beverages will be served during the meal.

After that, we have a short free time along the seafront. We regroup at the designated time and head to Borg El Arab Airport for our return flight, which departs after midnight.

DAY 8 | ALEXANDRIA – ISTANBUL

RETURN WITH MEMORIES ENRICHED BY SPIRITUALITY

After midnight, we arrive at Borg El Arab Airport. After completing our ticketing, baggage and passport procedures, we depart on the scheduled direct Pegasus Airlines flight PC629 at 03:20 to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.

We complete our journey through the Ahl al-Bayt shrines, scholars and sultans of Cairo; the thousands-year-old heritage of Giza; and the Sufi tradition of Tanta and Alexandria.

Throughout this special route, we not only saw Egypt's historical monuments but also closely got to know the traces left on the same lands by different civilizations, beliefs, and traditions of knowledge and wisdom. We bid farewell to Egypt with prayers, spiritual accounts and the beautiful memories we have gathered together.

Upon our arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 06:25 local time, our tour comes to an end.
