## Tour Detail

Day 1: Welcome to Lesvos (Mytilene – Gera – Lidl – Agiasos)
We meet the GÜVENTUR team at Dikili Port at 07:00. After check-in and customs procedures, we take the ferry across the Aegean. On arrival at Mytilene Port, we set out to explore the island.
Our Mytilene city tour begins with a walk along Ermou Street, among colourful shop windows, local bakeries, small boutiques and historic buildings. We visit Agios Therapon Church, known for its impressive dome and architecture. With our guide’s explanations, we also see the Ottoman-era Old Bazaar, Yeni Mosque and historic baths, discovering how different cultures shaped the island.
We continue through olive groves with views of Gera Bay, on our way to Lidl.
We stop at Lidl for shopping, with Greek cheeses, olive oils, seafood, snacks and local products, including food gifts.
We reach the mountain village of Agiasos, known for its crafts, ceramic workshops, woodcarvings and stone streets. We visit Panagia Vrefokratousa, the Church of the Virgin Mary. During free time, guests can enjoy traditional Greek coffee prepared over embers, browse local products and take photographs in the narrow streets.
At the end of the day, we transfer to the hotel and settle into our rooms. In the evening, a Greek taverna night offers live music, food, traditional Greek melodies and sirtaki dancing. Guests who wish can join the dancing. We then return to the hotel for the night.
Day 2: The Highlights of the North (Petra – Molivos – Mandamados)
After breakfast, we follow the northern route to discover the scenery, history and local flavours of Lesvos.
Our first stop is the religious site on Petra’s rocky hill. We climb 114 steps and enjoy views of the Aegean. There is time for photographs and information about the site’s history.
We continue to Molivos (Mithymna), with its cobbled streets, historic houses with projecting windows, bougainvillea-covered balconies and picturesque harbour.
During free time around the harbour, guests can try seafood and local Aegean dishes, walk along the waterfront or browse small shops.
At Mandamados, we visit Taxiarchis Church, dedicated to Archangel Michael and known for its architecture and icon. A short break offers the opportunity to taste the area’s yoghurt with honey and freshly made loukoumades.
We pass through Thermi and see the historic Sarlıca Palace panoramically, while our guide introduces the island’s past.
At the end of the day, we return to the hotel and rest.
Day 3: Shopping and Local Flavours (Jumbo – Plomari)
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin the day’s programme.
At Jumbo, there is free time to browse home decorations, gifts, toys, beach items and many other products. We then travel south through olive groves and Aegean scenery to the seaside town of Plomari, known for its ouzo production.
We visit Barbayanni Ouzo Distillery. The factory and museum tour introduces the production process, traditional copper stills and the brand’s history. At the end of the visit, guests have the opportunity to taste different varieties of ouzo and shop.
At the end of the day, we reach the port, complete passport procedures and return to Dikili by ferry. We say goodbye, hoping to meet again on another GÜVENTUR tour.
